Alright alright. Got some more beer and bay porn today.
Not my bus but the beer is mine
Brewed by:
Burnside Brewing Co. "Sweet Heat"
Oregon, United States
Style:
Fruit / Vegetable Beer | 4.90% ABV
A wheat ale with an addition of 200 pounds of Apricot puree, then dry hopped with imported Jamaican Scotch Bonnet peppers.
9 IBU
Not fruity tasting at all. Has a nice bite with an understated sweetness. Well balanced. Great for summer time camp outs and most other occasions. Even Xatie likes it and she hates beer.
Seriously PLF-Blue. I need to get my hands on some of that home brew _________________ Keep on Busin'

well, that is sometimes good enough

that sounds wild! giving me some ideas for the next batch.

summer is here in the Sierra Nevada's. May i recommend a great road trip to the tahoe-donner area. Nice little brewery in north lake with a view of the water. The Lake is nice before the tourist season hits and donner lake/old donner pass is great. The beer is sitting just a mile and a half off I-80.... Just sayin

Today is mexican monday! Got some work around the house to do so we need to start with a simple negra modelo.
I was not aware that 'George' (or Jorge) had a built in bottle opener.
Cheers everyone! _________________ ..."I live in my own little world. but it's ok, they know me here." -L. Myracle |

Here are a few I will avoid in the future. Neither was horrible, just nothing to get excited about. I'll do better next time.

Airways Brewing Co, brews a terrific beer. From Kent,WA. This is the one Notchboy brought me to the GSBG last night He brought two. Dang me, if I can remember which one this is But after tasting both. Pretty sure all their beer is quality. Notchboy, little help! Please clarify.
After GSBG Notchboy and some Samba beer lovers took me too Schooner Exact Brewing Co.in Seatlle, another fantastic place. If you in the area of either, stop in, you won't be disappointed.

I was going to get one Sky Hag and one PSA Summer Ale. But the Sky Hag is super popular so I brought two of these Amber Ales. Lynn and I about drank one before you guys got there. I had the rest last night along with all of the piston Well I had some as the girlfriend had some too
PSA® Summer Ale
Our PSA Summer Ale is perfect for drinking any time of day. Brewed with flaked oats for a creamy sweetness, this sessionable beer is balanced with citrusy Northwest hops. This beer hints at a favorite airline of yesteryear. If you’re a California native, you may know what we’re talking about.
ABV: 5.0% IBU: 35
Hops: Cascade, Centennial, Magnum
Light, crisp, with a hint of citrus that comes from the hops used in this beer.

Ah, the sweet smell of springtime and the taste of a new beer!
Our newest batch has matured - an unfiltered Lager.
Brewed with filtered natural spring water but unfiltered in its final offering, this slightly hoppy Lager was brewed with Czech saaz hops for an IBU of 40.
Abv 4.8%.
Easy drinking and nice as the warmer weather hits.
Will be taking some out on our camping trip today. More pics to follow.... Cheers!

A good signal allows for clear reception.
An easy drinking IPA from Eugene,Oregon. Smooth and tasty. A mighty fine rainy day beer that's sure to satisfy.
shiningstar and PLF.......Prost! Your brew looks amazing.

YES! Another home brewer!
Lookin' mighty tasty.
Plus, may be the best picture context of all time!
A beer next to power tools with a lazy dog in the background sleeping away in front of an old VW Bus with flames paint job while the little girl in a princess dress dances away near the fire!

Obviosly not a newcastle....Enjoying one of the homemade Lagers up near sierraville, east side of the donner summit, a little north of truckee.
Custom color? Chrome yellow beer? Pretty darn close, ironically...
Tastes a little like stella with less skunky aftertaste...

That color made me think of a good saying.
"You never buy beer, only rent it."
Stick that in our sig line _________________

We honestly have lots and lots of great local beer (and spirits) in our little city. Here are three from a fairly new brewery that I will be responsibly consuming tonight
