Custom color? Chrome yellow beer? Pretty darn close, ironically...
Tastes a little like stella with less skunky aftertaste...

That color made me think of a good saying.
"You never buy beer, only rent it."
Stick that in our sig line |

Excellent use of a dual-sport.
I used my DRZ on my last run to pick up ingredients for the next batch _________________ -Ron |

PDXevins Gringo Michelada
An appropriate Cinco De Mayo beer cocktail. Just add beach and it would be perfect

Xevin, I might need a recipe for that Michelada...
Here's a few from last weekend:
Horchata Stout by Frothy Beard in North Charleston, SC. Made with 40% local brown rice, chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon. 6.5% ABV. The road this brewery is on is full of great taco trucks as well, so a winning combination.
Smoked Rye Pale by COAST Brewing, also in North Charleston. Delicious on a hot day. 4.8% ABV, with 5% smoke malt, so it's just a hint, not overwhelming.
Right hand: Circuit breaker American IPA by Tradesman Brewing on James Island, SC. 7.5% ABV, not sure on IBU, but it's a nice balance of aroma and bitter. Lots of floral nose too, which I like.
Left hand: Pipewrench Porter by Tradesman Brewing, 6% ABV, a nicely rounded, smooth porter. One of my favorites around here, there are a lot of local coffee roasters, so most local stouts and porters are very coffee-forward. This one is just well done.

Sixer, way to bring it tough! Multiple beers and a beer model. Why didn't I name this post Beers, Bays, and Babes. Would've been much more interesting Pretty sure that little blonde kid in the picture will grow up to be a Syncro driving brew master. Dang cute the way he's eyeballing that beer.
The Michelada recipe is a tough one to replicate. The secret is Sewell Spices. Only going to find that in Belize. Marie Sharps Habanero sauce is Belizian as well but could be found on the net. Just find stuff like it in the picture and spend a camp out morning mixing and tasting.
I forgot to include beer stats for the Hop Valley Citrus Mistress
80 IBU 6.5% ALC. Brewed with grapefruit peel. Not sweet. A nice floral nose. Really good but not mind blowing. Worth a try.
And to quote klcarrie
"Me, a bud and at least one Labatt's Blue. Good times, good times."
I thought you might be taking this thread in a new direction until I saw your bud through the passenger window. That's what you meant, right?
PLF-Blue, I'll whip those Micheladas up in the morning after our pub crawl day. With some Fry Jacks. Mmm, Fry Jacks.
Cheers. _________________ Keep on Busin'

Hi Xevin,
I was just dropping off some good memories. Lower case 'b' for 'bud[dy]' is correct.
That said, Labatt's Blue is hardly a microbrew round these parts. Will have to update with images from my more recent transport acquisitions and brew offerings now available north of the 49th parallel.
Aloha,

My brother just started home brewing so here is his first - a hoppy english IPA. Big grapefruit note. No specifics on this one.
But a good way to end an afternoon of tinkering - just started my 1/4 rack project, complete with plans for a classic bamboo slat finish.

Pliney the Elder. See #12 A California Classic IPA. A bench mark many try to emulate. Followed by Hop-a-Wheelie IPA #15. Tip top.

Notice its "Expo" tag. Its kool WA graphic How fitting to have this beer while restoring the '74 - Same year as the Expo

Here's mine. Nothing too fancy.... just Costco fodder. Brother Thelonious Belgian Ale. Pretty good for a Belgian, smooth and not too carbonated.
Think it was around a $5 'r for a Pint, 9oz.

Another one, after washing and waxing Sixer.
Half Calf, a milk/sweet stout and collaboration between the local Holy City Brewing (North Charleston, SC) and RJ Rockers Brewing (Spartanburg, SC). I don't typically go for coffee beers, but this one is so smooth it's amazing.
From the website:
We've collaborated with our upstate buddies at RJ Rockers twice before, producing Stuck on Rye 26 at their brewery and then Holy Citra, RJ! at ours. When we contemplated doing four collaboration beers for Brewvival 2014, there was no question we needed them on the roster.
Looking at the big pile of things we have in common, one stuck out: coffee. We haven't produced a beer with coffee before, while the RJ crew has done Mocha Java Porter. In the great craft brewing spirit of stealing info from your competitors (who will gladly help you because you're really friends), the inspiration for Half Calf was born.
We used cold-press coffee from Little River Coffee Roasters in Spartanburg, and applied them to a strong-ish milk stout, giving us a super roasty, black, velvety smooth, perk-inducing beer.
Other details
Notable hops: Willamette
Notable malts: Maris Otter, C80, Flaked Barley, Carafa, Roast, Black
Release type: Occasional
