I know this is in here somewere but after and hour of searching I am stumped.

I am rebuilding my engine and forgot to diagram the Coil and its wiring. Can someone direct me to how to tell which pole is which on the coil and what wires go to each pole. I have confused myself.

Plus is terminal 15, black wire coming from the ignition switch and then is tapped for things like the choke heating element (and idle cutoff solenoid and backup lights depending on the car) Negative is terminal 1 for the green wire going to the distributor condenser.

Thanks. Are there numbers printed on the coil below the male wire hook ups?

Yes, there should be. If it's a non-Bosch coil it may only say + and - though.
