Place a wanted ad here on the classified's. Its free... (and the rules seem to indicate your putting this in a topic here is not allowed)

I have an early "tan" one that I removed from our 82 for the later longer drawer that fits around the drain. PM if you are interested. I saw it the other day. A later longer drawer might be preferable if you can find one.

Let a moderator move your post. IMHO you did nothing wrong. You inquired about a source to get parts. People ask that all the time in other Samba forums.
I do agree a wanted to buy in the classifieds is a good idea. Also put specifically what you are looking for in your signature line. Happy hunting. _________________ Keep on Busin'

Them are not MY rules, btw... I'm a pretty flexible guy, probably not much good for me to say much of anything at all here, really.
That's not my monkey, and I haven't been asked to join the Circus! _________________ '87 Westy 'Flossie','86 Westy 'R1','86 tintop GL - Subi2.2 'J2','83.5 stock tintop L 'ZoomBus','74 Karmann Ghia, '63 Notch |

Try calling Small Car in Washington. They have used/reclaimed parts. I didn’t see it listed but call. They also might know some other vendors/shops that hoard Vanagon bits. I know the go to places in The Bay Window forum. Just not hip to the Vanagon places. Surely their must be a few across the country. Good luck.
