I got my March issue of Hotvws today, and my car is in it. Very Happy Now I can post pictures of the build on here.

Nice buggy and great story. Riding a bicycle to Ojai that a story in itself.
Did you Dad change the rear of the body on later models?

Yes the later models had a spoiler in the rear, like the california clipper the clipper is a copy.

Man that looks cool! I really like the shot of the day you brought it home. It looks really rugged with the centerlines and beefy rubber on them. Nice job on the chassis, super clean!

What size of tires did you have on it when you got it runnng? And any more pics of it with them? Im going crazy tryng to figure out my tire and wheel combo...

Wheels are EMPI race trim 15x6.5 and 15x4, tires are Firestone Destination A/T front 205/75R15 rear 30x9.50R15. The Centerlines belonged to the previous owner.

Perfect, I have 4 inch wide rims in the front and wanted to run 205/70s but was recomended not to because the rim being to narrow for that wide of tire... but seeing yours you talked me into it! Buggy looks great!

I posted a picture of the decal on my buggy these are the other two that my dad used the first one would have been on most of the dune buggies and the other on the baja bug kits.
