Two steel pipes in the passengers rear wheel in my 70 Ghia but what do they do? or go to?

That comes from the expansion tank in the front going to the charcoal canister in the rear. The line traveled under the car , secured by brackets on the pan bolts, passenger side.

There are two lines in the pic. One is bent and the other does go into the engine compartment for the charcoal filter. What is the bent one for?

I did my best to take pics of the area, but there wasn't room to take off the wheel in the garage!
Possibly doesn't help much, except to say that I only seem to have the one tube on my Ghia (which is the breather hard line). You can also see a small section of braided fuel line where two sections are joined.
