Glove box latch / lock

I'm trying to find the right latch/lock for the Thing glove box door I found. See photo. Any help is

May depend on which glove door you have. I have an aftermarket (Not Thing Shop) door. Uses an ovalish hole. Turn to unlatch. Lockable

There's another style I'll call a "pinch to unlatch". Also lockable. Used on Super Beetles 73-79 and Vanagons 80-91

I almost bought one of those but I couldn't tell if the whole shape was correct.

You are going to need a lock with a long arm to reach past the top of the glove box and secure to the body.

Thanks for the help Guys. I ordered a locking latch and I'll make it work one way or the other! :)

FTR, This is my door setup (Yours may vary). I don't recall manufacturer. Also note relocated map light.

Door is attached by piano hinge on bottom. Not pivot hinges similar to the ones on the dash pod.

Backside of door noting latch mounting. P/N visible (111857131C)

Note clearance notch on top
