Obviously strip only, although there are some pretty cold parts of Northern Europe, and maybe alcohol... _________________ There has only ever been one man who was perfect, and they nailed Him to a cross. |

Re-engineered like this?

Yea, tins are a problem. Unless you have a baja, which wait no, it's still a problem.
Bugguy, these are race application heads, which need no flaps not thermostat. oh wait, they're marketed as street heads.
So constructive criticism: they need to be re-"engineered" |

That looks like a 4" cylinder bore...way cool...the market is in need of a 4" bore cylinder head. ..man, just think that you could be running a 3.0 4 cylinder on the street. _________________ Never be a follower...Do your own thing, make it your own! |

Some pictures of my Remmele Type 1 heads.
They have 45x40 valves and 94mm bore.
They are set up for 10,5:1 compression.

Not exactly a copy. Chamber is smaller, no D-port exhaust, no dual spark plugs etc.
Doesnt all CE/SF style head look like same? MS230, CB CE, Mr Pieper billet head etc.
Mine can be fitted up to 54x40 valves on 101.6 bore heads and still fit very large pauter rockers, because valvecover seal flange radius at bottom is smaller.

Those heads on my picture ar Mr. Piepers billet heads. There is nothing wrong with his heads, i just wanted my own design to my use
That first pair what you saw, goes to street/strip E85 running 2919cc engine with 50x40 valves.
Same company that made my own design, they had billet heads for VW too, , AngleFlo style, which will go to a finnish dragrace beetle:

I do not have exact selling price to my heads or those angleflo billet heads.
But my own design pair did cost for me 2000€. _________________ Lasercut parts and CAD design |

add atleast 8mm more under the ex seat's 1 for support and 2 for better flow.I would rather have about 18mm more.

There is enough support at the exhaust port on my heads.

I'v got CSP high performance valveguides for the first set of heads. Total length is 47.10mm.
They look little bit short but at exhaust they look just enough.

high flat floors work better and are/can be smaller (intake and exhaust) than a round port. any piticular reason why the intake ports are aimed that way?( type 4 style) the closer you can put them togeather the more power it will make as the direction of the charge will be less shrouded by the cylinder. hmm ,..oh 2 different sets of heads...oops 3 different sets....round is non directional, flats&nice corrners direct the charges the way they need to go...if there done right. those sure are pretty!! are you adding deflectors to direct the center air passages to go fore&aft through the fins? or add a cooling hose to the bottom&duck it that way?lotsa ways to do it!! I suppose the tin could also be made to send air there too. you got lots of work ahead of you. keep up the good work!!!! |
