hello everyone
looking for some help , i have purchased a new fuel pump for my first type 4 rebuild , and I'm having trouble with the lines on it

i have a dual carb set up , but I'm not sure where to route the lines from the pump i started hooking up , one line to a tee to both carbs and another line from the fuel tank.
but as you can see in my photo the one outlet not hooked up , so what and where does the line go??

please help guys , maybe I'm missing the obvious ?? but I'm not sure , thx again guys
cory

Connect a 6-8" length of small line to it and stick it through the hole at the front bottom of the RH sled tin.

It's a drain in case of the unlikely but not impossible chance the diaphragm ruptures.

super happy that people are so willing to share the simple and the difficult facts with some of us trying to learn, and not forced to learn the hard way trial and error
