Does anybody have any experience with the CB street Eliminator heads and the CB Super pro heads? I'm, looking at building a 200 HP 2332 for bracket racing that will never see the street, so engine width and cool are not a big concern _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

I use the CB 044 Wedge Port heads 42X37 valves for racing. I did some more porting on them and they work well. But they are used on a smaller engine than you want to build. Buy the best within your budget. _________________ Grubby Fingers Racing

I have 2 big motors with the wedgeports and I am very happy. One has 44x37.5 and the one with a turbo has 42x37.5
No experience with the others. |

I ran a set of the Ultra wedgeports in my Roadrace car during a 24-hour race. After about 23 hours of continuous racing, one of the CNC'd intake ports developed 2 holes in it, causing a pretty big intake leak from the bottom of the head on my #2 cylinder. It finished the race, and I believe I can(hopefully) have the head welded up and put it back to use.
It seems the porting made the head a little too thin in that area.
I have used a few sets of the normal CB Wedgeports, and haven't had any problems with them. _________________ Drag bus! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2MOVmKdhX4

I have a pair of wedgeports and a pair of ultrwedgeports and couldn't be happier. The super pros came out right after I bought my wedgeports As you know the superpros flow better with better port velocity. The only thing I don't really like is the huge combustion chambers in their CNC heads, IT take a fairly big cut to get compression up if you want to get up over 10:1

Does CB provide buyers of their CNC Street Eliminators the new flow numbers? They have to flow a lot better than the 190 something that they originally did. _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |
