make sure you check and see which brand motor you have as the WW armature only fits one make. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

The WW armatures only fit SWF wiper motors and I believe it is only up intil 1964 for buses, maybe 65. But I think 65 is a one year only motor, as is 66 and 67.
64 and earlier is one speed non parking. 65 is one speed self parking. 66 two speed 6 volt. 67 two speed 12 volt.
I think thats right. _________________ DKB |

I'd swear they were Bosch units. But I could be wrong.

I think the later motors are still SWF but The WW armatures will not fit '66 due to an entirely new design motor. Something like a 12V type III motor might fit - But I haven't found one to try for size. Your only real choices for '66 are either a '67 bus motor or a volt-a-drop.
I found a '67 motor for mine so as soon as I get the '66 motor out I can play with it and see what else might fit. Maybe in time for next winter. _________________ ~~~~~~~~

My bus, a '66, is converted to 12V wipers, dual speed. I'm not sure how, but it is. Probably the 67 way. I thought that it was from a bay window though. Anywho, I have an extra wiper motor that came with my bus, don't know where it came from, I'll try to remember to get a part number off of it. Maybe it's a '67 motor...who knows because I don't. _________________ All your Buses are belong to us.

12V motors are 211-955-113A, 113C, 113D, & 113Q depending on chassis number. The 113Q is for chassis 217 000 001 and on which are '67 models. _________________ ~~~~~~~~

Didn't many of the 67-only conversions actually begin in '66? I think it's possible to have the 67-two-speed-wiper in a '66, right?

The 12V 113D motor is listed for '66 chassis numbers, and I believe 12 volt was an available option for '66 since there are 12V 9-prong boxes listed for '66 too. _________________ ~~~~~~~~

I think 12 volt was an M number as far back as 63. _________________ DKB |

Yep. The armature fit in my '65 one speed self parking motor. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.
