I went to that website, and don't see where they offer VW stuff. Did you get these recently? Custom order?

The boxes the cover came in said TMI. I still have the boxes and will look for where they were shipped from. I am betting that the "Distinctive Industries" are a 3rd party vendor.

Are those red plastic shades above your door glass? I haven't seen those in ages! (I've got chrome ones) Where'd they come from?

The shades came with the car. I like their old-school look. I have left them on because they fit the theme.

I don't know what you are talking about? Non-stick headliner? The headliner is custom made with fabric from the fabric store. I don't know about non-stick? I'm learning how to read these days. Here is a picture of the headliner. I like it a lot. He did a great job with it.

If you look at the other threads in my signature, you can find a lot of inspiration. I keep pretty much everything I do documented.

Looked at the boxes. Looks like it is a combination of foam from CIP1 or West Coast Metric. I do not think the items were in the right boxes.....I think the foam is TMI bought from CIP1. The covers look like they were purchased from West Coast Metric.

I would start there. Unfortunately, only the foam was in the original box it shipped in. The other items were wrapped in plastic or stored in other boxes. My best guess is above.

If I wouldn't have had the seat set already, I would have gotten my covers and foam from ISP West. As a matter of fact, that is where I ordered my carpet set as stated earlier.

I like that headliner, the seats and door panels need some matching accents

New things a coming around the corner. I sealed the tank. I have new clutch and gas cable sets coming in. The carpet set from ISP is ordered. I ordered some new Sprint Stars yesterday. I should be able to relocate the hard fuel filter up under the driver's side rear fender this weekend.

I'm making all kinds of progress. Now I am playing the waiting game for parts and the tank sealing process to complete.

Here are a couple of pictures from this weekend. The first is with the new cooler and hub caps I found at the swap meet. The second is after I removed the "Hood Ride" stencils that were all over the car.

I can't wait to get the wheels on. I think they are going to look great on the car.

Welcome to Texas - at least you are in a relatively low humidity spot. Are you going to DubSplash in Lewisville next month? It should be huge

heads up on the wheels. if there has never been anything but stock wheels on the car, you may have to grind the protruding edge on the front calipers in order to mount the wheels. You definitely have to do that with original sprint stars, not sure about the re-pops

Non-humid part? Compared to what? Th inside of a sauna?

I grew up in the panhandle. Dry and windy.

I spent my last decade and a half in Colorado Springs. Dry and Sunny.

This place will take some getting used to. That is for sure.

Leo,

I will take closer look at the bumpers after work. The car is down for the tank reseal and at home.

Erik,

Is this the one that is Sunday only? If so, I was thinking about it. We will see what works out.

Do you are going to be at this show? I'm sure I'll make it. I just haven't planned it out yet.

They seem to have a bar in the back that is the width of the holes. That supports them and holds the bar on the outside. There is a spacer on the outside to space them away from the bumper.

I am going to find your thread and check your car out now. Work was a monster today.
