|
|
If I can get time, I plan on going to the VTO blackstar campout at Prado Regional park in Chino, CA.
I will go to the split bus show put on by OCTO in Long Beach, and I have to make a decision as to go to the Classic, or stay at the Prado campground and go to their show.
I think the Classic will be more 'Thingy', but I will go where there are more Things. _________________ 63 singlecab

That was posted for folks not in the know. Hopefully we see a few of you nice 181 Volks at these events.
I guess if we drink too much Sunday night we will stay and recover at VTO.
I will help you decide Sunday… _________________ "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Prado Park for me. My guess is the Classic's numbers will be way down this year and mostly attended by the the clubs and the big $ show cars.
$25 per person to get into the Classic. $15 per car load at Prado if you bring 2 cans of food. Free event t-shirt to the first 100 cars through the gate at Prado. Grass and trees at Prado vs. less than desirable conditions at the Classic (huge let down last year). And to seal the deal, Prado is close to home for me. |

As I will be camping at Prado, it will be easiest to stay there and not go to the classic.
I did speak to Greg of GMW and they will be at the Classic contemporary music _________________ 63 singlecab

So what was the official car count for the two shows on the same day? I counted 11 at Prado and I read there were 10 to 15 at the Classic. It sure would be nice if the promoters could work this out and have the events on separate days.
Maybe Sam could post up his Prado pictures that are on FB and we could see the Classic pictures here as well. |
