Measuring your fan....IS BEING SAFE.

I did not say disassemble it.
Simply bolt it to the crank while you have the shroud off of the engine....set up a dial indicator...or at the very least...a simple metal probe....and based off the centerline Vee of the pulley...just check to see if its round within a few thousandths.
Should take about 10 minutes.

Sure beats the hell out of installing it.....and then wondering why the fan belt is rattling all over the place...and then having to disassemble what you just put together to do any correction work.

Checking nothing is not REALLY being safe.... Wink
