While getting gas in the Crusty Pig, this comes on the screen at the pump.
It came on so quick, I had to wait another 8 minutes for it to scroll through again. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

I wouldn't be suprised if they all subscribe to the same screen filler service, much like Muzak in stores. Particular brands may have slightly different subliminal messages thrown in to push sodas or other high markup impulse buys that chain likes to move, but it likely all comes from the same provider, maybe it's a default supplied by the pump contractor if you don't go for the upsell custom sales pitch content?

Gas Station TV annoys the hell out of me normally, but that is kind of cool. _________________ If you haven't bled on them, you haven't worked on them.

TV at gas stations? Interesting. Why? Don’t have those newfangled TVs on our pumps. SINCE WE CAN’T PUMP OUR OWN GAS IN OREGON. Does the TV get Netflix?
Nice not to pump gas on a shitty day in the Subaru but I hover like a helicopter mom with the ACVWs _________________ Keep on Busin'

That was my thought as well. In fact, I think it’s dangerous due to the fact that the volume & screen distract people at a time when they would be quite vulnerable to people with ill intent. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

I did not like it when I finally got a smart phone. The first time I pulled into a gas station with it, the thing rang and proceeded to give me info on what was on sale. Then later that day it wanted a review of a diner I stopped at. First thing I did when I got home was turn off the location . Then fashioned a tin foil hat . _________________ 1970 Westfalia, |

No - they play constant ads and weather 2500 miles away from you. They are obnoxious other than their partners in crime:
Do you want to buy gas today? - Y N... Yes
Are you a member of Safeway Rewards? Y N .... Yes
Do you want to use your points today? Y N .... Yes
Sorry your points are inaccessible at this time.
Do you want to buy a car wash today? - Y N..... No
Do you want a receipt? - Y N... Yes
Please go inside the store and pay, the system is down right now.
Thank you for your purchase, please get your receipt inside the store. The pump is out of paper. _________________ Ted Williams has always been my hero since the very first time my dad took me down to their dugout after a game. They flew together in WWII.
