tried searching, can anyone point me to a photo with the colors compared? Is the mignonette more "limey" or yellow?

thanks

Yes, Mignonette has more of a yellow hue to it as compared to Agave.

In comparing it to the two pics that Stale Air posted, I would say it looks more like agave.

if it looks more agave then great!

the vin is 1607*** , making it one of the first square window beetles. The PO believed the paint was Migonette but Agave would have been the correct color I think for the car. It was repainted a while back ( maybe late 90's ) and its a 10-20 footer.

I knew where to find a set of green/grey seats which I cleaned up and will replace the basket weave interior:

So, you just bought the car?

You will most likely have to translate it, but here is some good info on Agave...

Here is our Agave 66. We looked at all the shades of VW green and liked this the best

Yes, just bought it. Thanks for the link.

Looking at AZ66bug's picture my car is pretty certainly Agave.

How does the Mango Green colour compare to the other two greens.

having painted a Mango bus I'm going to say its closer to the Mignonette. Its not as lime colored as Mignonette and not as olive colored as Agave.
