Thanks for the great info and to Ricardo for working to resolve he mystery. Tranny is in a shop I trust and my split will be alive again soon.

i have spent the whole weekend checking my ring and pinion inventory , and i have found this .....

pinion is a bit larger , as well as the ring , they are 8:35 ......same six bolts like the split ones .

what is this set for ?

Agreed, the larger R&P you have is for a 60s full synchro trans.

Hey Sam, thanks for the pictures in your website.

I am working on a standard crashbox (post 52 I guess, because it has different oil filler plugs, but the NOS stock gears I have seem to fit the same.
