|
|
Hi,
I own Karmann Ghia convertible 73'.
I'll need your help with missing part.
there are 2 halls on the top of the windshield frame.
it looks like some kind of plastic/gumi part should be there in order to "lead" the roof to the right place.
any idea how does it look like and where can I find it?
Thanks,
Guy

it won't help you right now but getting a printed catalog from KGPR http://www.karmannghia.com/ will help big time... in the catalog the parts are positioned over a line illustration of our cars. making it so much easier to find and name. |

the catalog was a great help until it got lost
BTW I'm not sure if you had teh same problems, but I ordered many rubbers and sealed parts from karmannghia.com, I had big struggle to install them, they were not fitted all the way.
Did you have the same difficulties? |

Not yet... but I do know from finding parts for my '87 Wrangler that anything that's a reproduction (not OEM) is usually just a bit off. Makes it very frustrating. |

I have found their reproduction rubber parts and seals to be of high quality. If you are having those problems you should let them know as they take pride in what they sell and are always looking to improve what they offer. _________________ Ghia Owner Emeritus |
