Seems the resto has been completed, congratulations to the Prototyp Museum, they are celebrating their 10th anniversary with the presentation of their VW 39, the ex-Raffay car. Some press releases:

Are those semaphores correct?

Yes they are. They can be seen unpainted toward the bottom of page 4 of this thread.

Those semaphores are less rare than production KdF ones. The prototypes used regular off-the-shelf units made by the large manufacturers of the time.
