For all you NBA fans, great series, great year for the young Golden State team, some new Blood winning the NBA Crown.

Oh sorry Lebron, you made it to the finals 6 times, but your 2 wins don't put you in MJs class... maybe next year..... Laughing Twisted Evil

Concur, Very good series, especially the first few games. Better team won, Steph Curry is a stud. Look out next year if Kyrie, KLove and Anderson Varejao are on the floor w/ Lebron. He IS the best basketball player in the world.

It feels good since I watched them win it in person (10-12 games?) in 1975 with Rick Berry while living in Redwood City! Cool

I believe you mean Rick Barry he was one of the last players to shoot the granny shot free throw. On another note my son plays basketball in high school with his cousins son's son Brendan Barry, New Jersey shore conference player of the year.

I'm surprised anyone outside the Bay Area knows they won it. All I see all over ESPN and other media outlets are articles about Lebron.

East Coast Bias in full Effect!

Take a look at a map sometime.

Cleveland is "America's Armpit" and it's in the midwest. If LeBron had been in California, you would have heard wall to wall Golden State coverage.

Warriors fan since i was a kid due to Rick Barry. I started follwoing most sports when i was about 5 or 6 in 1974-1975. Yankees, Cowboys, Flyers, Warriors. Don't follow Basketball as much as i used to but glad they won. I followed them loosely all season and they were the most consistent all season and played good team ball

I know where Cleveland is. Take a look at a map and tell me if Oakland or Cleveland is closer to the East Coast.

Home many superstars are left in the NBA? James is one of the few. I still contend that James is the only reason for the bias. Golden State doesn't have a significant marque player.

Steph Curry is the reigning MVP of the NBA. Id have to call him a significant marque player.

slightly shifting topic...Congrats to my LA Lakers forsaking the easy choice and making a ballsy decision and taking Deangelo Russell, point guard from Ohio State #2 in the draft. Starting July 1st...now looking for a big.

I would grant you that he is probably the best one-on-one player, but definitely not the best "complete" basketball player. It is a team sport, after all. GS understood that, and that has a lot to do with their winning. Look at the bench stats, too; they are very telling.

Dude averaged a triple double, thats kinda the definition of a complete player. Very Happy
Cavs lost because Golden State is loaded with talent (4 current allstars) and they play great ball movement basketball. GS won a record 73 games last year and then added a 4 time scoring champion/leagueMVP/Current finals MVP in Kevin Durant. Congrats Warriors on the 2nd of many. I've been a big Warrior fan since Klay Thompsons rookie year, they'll be my team til the Lakers can get back out of the basement. Embarassed Still, Lebron is the King. Look out MJ. Smile

How many championships would Jordan have won if he had played on the same team with Magic, Bird, Charles, Patrick, Reggie or Isaiah instead of playing against them?

More than 6. Smile But he beat most anyway. I love NBA talk, what is the point above? Warriors are the team loaded with NBA MVP's and All Stars. LeBron is playing against the stacked deck. The Cavs have talent too no doubt. Kyrie averaged 30 points in the finals, LeBron 34/12/10. It will be Warriors V. Cavs IV in the finals next year.
