|
|
I recently bought an NOS Thermador swamp cooler, but it came without the box or instructions. I went online looking for an instruction sheet and was only able to find the four images below. I did find one for sale on ebay I could have gotten for 20 bucks or so, but what’s the fun in that?
So, using Word, these images, and loads of patience and squinting, I was able to recreate the instruction document.
I’m missing just a few words (highlighted), and am wondering if someone out there might have a copy (or better eyes) and be able to help. After I’m done I’ll send the file to Everett to post on the site for all to use. _________________ Air does not freeze. Air does not boil.

The others are quite tough but I got one word...
Exist
In the General section.
"small open spaces exist"
I'm kinda surprised one isn't posted here on thesamba...
Or maybe one is... hidden in the archives somewhere??? _________________ ✠Miklo✠

Thanks!! That's exactly what it is.. I've been looking at that for ages, I knew a second (better) set of eyes would help.
As for finding one, I've searched high and low, archives here, ebay, you name it, those four images were all I could find. I was surprised too. _________________ Air does not freeze. Air does not boil.

Friend of mine suggested that the first missing word under Installation is "Curved" as in "insert the curved part of top of discharge duct"
As for the other missing bit, I'm guessing at it. Under Operation I got: This hole is located in front of tunnel and is plugged...
Still missing the bit below the company information, and still not certain about the word cardboard, but I'm calling it done. _________________ Air does not freeze. Air does not boil.

Just a note, and a bit of humor. I installed one of these on my car back years ago when cars didn't have air conditioners. It was working fine, and once while on a trip I came up behind a sand truck going about 50 miles per hour, and got sand blasted. Sand blowing off the truck came thru the unit and hit me in the side of the face and head. I was shocked, and didn't know at first what was happening. Now days these trucks are covered. Bob |
