Since the 1967 hubcaps don't seat snuggly against the wheel the caps will not hold the early slotted trim rings. Does anyone have a picture of the 1966 67 trim rings which must have a different inner conture. Is there an after market source or part number that could help me locate a set that will ffit tightly under these, one year only, hubcaps. I understand the convertible came standard with trim rings. I see a couple of sets on ebay from empi but a have no idea if they actually fit and the pictures look like file photos. Thanks

This is not quite on topic, but it led from me looking at your question... lol.

I thought I'd look over the brochures in the Archives for 1967... not expecting to come across this "gem" of Adventures In Photo Retouching! Where Convertibles come without trim rings and with a front bumper on the rear!
