So I'm going to attempt rocker fixing on a 71 bus.
Everything underneath the rockers is gone also.
So, I guess more accurately re-building everything between the rocker and the floor also, and a few holes in the floor, and wheel wells.
My client has not removed any of the interior.
How flammable do you figure the wood floor and wall panels are?
There's probably foam insulation too.
It might be as flammable as a 5 year old Christmas tree.
Or maybe it isn't. I don't know.
OR, for the betting types....
How many times do you think it will light up and I will have to put it out? |

I'd think once would be more than enough

DO NOT breathe the smoke from the burning foam. You may very quickly look like your avatar. The by-products of isocyanate foam are hideous.
Also back in the day these foams were used, they were typically tested for self extinguishment by ASTM methods (not current UL methods)...and were originally listed as self extinguishing.
They are no longer listed ad such because on the heat level gets high enough....since the foam is a heavy insulator....it will begin to saturate with heat and will burn like gasoline. Be careful.
