I seem to recall some folks using the rollover valves and grommets from Jeep vehicles on the Vanagon fuel evaporation tanks. Is that still a thing, or are we going back to VW parts?

If we're still using Jeep parts can someone provide part numbers for the valves and grommets?

on that note has anyone made a replacement for the tanks in general yet? seems like an opportunity! I've replaced my 30 yr old cracked tanks with 30yr old less cracked tanks and would love a solid option for next time

Thanks for the parts info! I got to thinking if someone needed the parts and their tanks were still OK, they might find them at a local FLAPS.

The plastic tanks are available with Ken Wilford at Vanagain. I just ordered a replacement right tank as I found one evap hose nipple completely broken off, and the other with a crack.

I went that route with two of them. They're nicely made and fit fine in what is a tight fit even with the stock plastic tanks.
