Well, foil is definitely done for. Going on a trip next week and my gas gauge doesnt work. (my scan gauge on the bostig gives me coolant or head temp so i am good there) I was wondering if there is a temporary work around to get signal to gas gauge for the trip?
Gowesty has a solution, but i cant order until i get back. Let me know.

Well, my cluster is useless. Speedo is off due to 215/65 16 wheels, odometer doesn't work, cool doesn't work, lights don't work and now gauges are out. I will try some solder, but it looks like this at the moment.

Get some brake cleaner and spray the area, some medium sandpaper to rough up the base under the loose copper strips and clean the bottom side of each one and glue them back down.
What have you got to loose if you don't try? |

Cleaned and glued the best I could. Letting it dry and trying it tomorrow.
