chassis welding

Hello

Having some issues with the local technical inspection here in Belgium, I want to replace the rear centre chassis section (cf picture).

Do you think I need to reïnforce the chassis while taking the old section out? I'd say probably not, but would like a second opinion.

i did change mines, no reinforcement was needed

just have a nasty rememberance of welding from the underside Rolling Eyes
