|
|
Good afternoon all!!!
If this is a dumb question, I apologize but I am looking to see if the entire transmission must be out of a Bus in order to remove the bell housing or can the bell housing just be removed while the tranny is still installed? Of course the engine is already out.
Thanks to all the help!!

even when you drain, be prepared for another quart to come out. Inspect the ring and pinion while it is off. Have a spare gasket on hand in case the old one tears.
Be sure to put the radio button in the type transmission you have to see what gaskets it takes.

6 on the inside, 4 more outside on the bottom. Earlier trans used
studs&nuts rather than bolts. _________________ '67 bug: seized by the authorities
