Bought this from Matt for some months ago. Haven't almost been doing anything on it until today when I started a little smooth!
Got it delivered by Dai from uk so that was perfect! Thanks mate.
I got it drivable for a meeting here in Sweden last month. Borrowed an engine and drove around on the field. So funny!

Layed my hands on it with the welder for the first time today
New master cylinder with cool ATE cup
New reinforcement pillar from AutoCraft. Wrong, as always... had to cut and reweld it. Made it easy for me but it'll do.

Awesome Jesper, good to see it moving under its own steam. Remember seeing the first time before the cab was on and thinking Matt was mental. Still think Matt's mental now though hahaha! Don't forget about the 55 though dude I want to see it at Hessich! _________________ 1963 Squareback

Nice one getting it moving! I remember sitting on the seat base with no cab around me in Dai's barn a few years back wondering if it would ever get done...
Barndoor side supports are thicker as they get near the bottom from memory. That's probably a later bus support hence why it doesn't touch the sill and you had to change it. _________________ Austrian Kohlruss Deluxe

Time to make a small update maybe.. Haven't been doing too much on it but small steps!
Bought an engine, 30hp
Also bought an okrasa kit
Felt like christmas This was like 2-3 months ago
so now I had to assemble it!
Done!
Took me around a day to put it all together! Need to mount the exhaust and plates and then put it in the truck and try to fire it up!
Also some progress on the cab, not so many pics of it tho
Pod is in!
And I've tried to renovate the fuel tank with POR15. Waiting for the ''paint'' to dry and then we'll see if it works
cheers! _________________ Type 2 -53 smooth Gate SC (o\!/o) Type 1 -50 |o\ /o| Type 2 -55 Barndoor kombi

great stuff, always exciting when the motor fires up, and the semaphores pop out. At first i wondered what was wrong with the motor, but it was just the beetle exhaust. A proper bus exhaust will fix that _________________ regards
