I thought i'd post a couple of pics and a short video of my 16 year old daughter arriving at her high school prom. We thought 'what is cooler than an old vw truck' Answer? Storm Troopers. So here we are, Amy and Sam arriving on the back of my 72 double cab, escorted by a Storm Trooper from the 501st Garrison of the Imperial Army, to a back drop of the Imperial March.

BTW - she won the 'Best Arrival' prize, somehow beating the kid who arrived ina helicopter? Smile

Sam and Amy quaffing champagne. They're sat on a spare microbus seat I had.

I had to get in on a couple of photos, I never give up the chance of having a selfie with a Storm Trooper

Right on!!

a gopro tip... use the 24fps or higher - in daytime 60fps is perfect... in the video it is choppy... look like you used 15fps?

Pretty sure that's a Ghia 'vert in the car park at the start of the video too (as the Austin Healy goes by!)
Seems to be in the UK, so highly unusual!

Thanks for posting!

My goal is to have my '71 Doublecab ready for my youngest daughter's prom in 2020. My oldest should graduate in 2018 but there is no way it will be done by then unless Chip Foose steps in and overhauls it. Lol.
