Looking for some screws for a 67 convertible beetle. I need the ones that mount the rear view mirror. Any clues as to what size threads, length, and/or suppliers would be very helpful.
Thanks, Conrad |

The use stainless steel sheet metal screws.
Nothing special.
Any good hardware has a vast supply.

When I was doing my '66, I found out that all the screws, including the s/m screws, are metric. I've been to every hardware store around, and NO ONE has ever heard of metric s/m screws. I wound up using American #8. and #10's. American takes the holes a little larger, otherwise the smaller screws have a hard time tightening. Don't know if WW sells metric s/m screws. |

x2 on that. WW has carried every correct screw that I needed for my '64 Beetle. I have given up on my local Ace store and they have a HUGE nut and bolt section. _________________ 1957 VW Oval Resto Mod |
