This was taken outside of the "shoe tree" on Hwy 50 in Nevada. It was cut down by vandals a few years back - which is why we can't have nice things. So, for posterity:

World's largest ketchup bottle - Collinsville, Illinois
World's largest peanut - Ashburn, Georgia

World’s largest Tobacco Worm, Wendell NC.
Which is funny because I got a pic of it a few months ago before someone gave it bunny ears.

where is the giant peach in Gaffney SC? Gotta get a picture of that next time you pass Gaffney. There is a great peach stand we stop at in summer around July 1 - they have the best peaches. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

impossible to miss - right next to I-85. Someone from the forum needs to go over and get a picture of their bay under or near it.

Driving from So Cal to Lake Havasu, AZ, in the middle of nowhere in the Arizona desert (I think highway 62) there is fence that is covered with shoes. Thousands of shoes! In the middle of nowhere!

This thread is awesome.
Here's Curly's coffee down in Marathon, FL. It's a tiny coffee shop that managed to survive Irma. I used to visit this place regularly when I lived down there; the coffee is great! Definitely have to stop if you're in town.
Here's this awesome gigantic drive through convenience store in Okeechobee, FL. They have about everything you need. Thought it was awesome so I had to stop. It cost $5.82 for two tall boy Buds and two bags of chips
Highly recommend stopping if you're passing through. _________________ Unnamed 1986 Syncro

Hey, I went through something like that in Pennsylvania; they only sold beer in quantities of 24 or more! Your picture with your bus pulling through is way more awesome!

I recall going through a place like that when I was a kid, but haven't seen one for many many years.
I'm actually surprised there are any left. I'd think the mix of exhaust fumes inside a building, especially with food, would get some sort of government agency's panties all twisted.

The sign to the entrance to the UFO Watchtower in the San Luis Valley
The entrance to Fort Union. It was closed but what I could see was pretty cool
