Skills, that picture of the installed engine looks like a factory build only cleaner. Makes me want to pull the engine out of my wife's WRX. Razz I like what you do to these. Will you post a video of it running after your done?

Really sweet set up on this one Skills. Fun to watch the projects and read your running commentary. Brother Mike and I are blasting up into the hills this weekend. what fun it is to power up the narrow mountain roads WITHOUT A LONG LINE of pissed off drivers behind us. In fact not even one pissed off driver. your customers will love these build ups.

Hay you still have a lot in common with the air cooled group. We could talk.
Interior
Exterior
Stopping distance
Rust repair
Slow wipers
Cross winds, well maybe that is not a problem because you guys are going so fast?

^^^ So that's what's it's like to drive a swapped bus. Awesome! But driving a
" Bus" is more ironic in Sammys words. " I can't drive 55" Some buses can't
And some buses can't Wink Again nice work! Glad to see someone going after it with Bays. Someday Vanagon guy is going to bitch about how all the bay guys keep jacking up the prices of Subie motors Twisted Evil keep doing what you doing. Someday folks will say. "Shit I should have got a Skills Subie swap kit when it was $7k now it cost $20k." Camper Special reference. If you know what I mean Wink

Oh man! That video was shot at Saugus Speedway, where my dad would take me to watch nitrous stock car races as a kid! I never made it through a whole race; too loud! I guess that's why my bus is slow and quiet and I'm cool with that… Laughing

I only heard the bassline -- faintly -- before the startup, but that bassline is *very* distinctive. Shocked

Damn, Skills that's a lot of cheddar Very Happy

But Robbie's statement makes a nice metaphor. Classical music is nice. Metal music is nice. But a lot of shitty composers in both genres. I'm no musician but I want to hear good music. And I know it when I hear it. I appreciate both. Cheers Skills, I will stop hijacking your thread. Good stuff, and that Richard Cheese vid is awesome Laughing going to send that to my wife. She will truly appreciate it as I do.

neat, huh Very Happy

the owners of dumpy came by today to go for a ride/drive it

still need to dial in a few things, but the look on the faces were that of a 10 year old at Christmas getting a new bike. it was warm and toasty...like window open HOT in there and the bus drives like a new car. I am so glad that I have met their expectations.

they have an awesome bus, I have insurance money for another 6 months of business and me and the wife can split a mc double. score Laughing
