yes, the VDO oil it is ok, working fine
the issue that I have now, is to cleat the web of wires under my dashboard,
here are some pics
I understand they are relays, can you recognize them ?
if so, can you tell me the connections description ?
I found that
49 its is positive...... is that constant ? or power by the key??
49a its turn signal...... is that for the lights or to the steering wheel ??
Also I do know why there is these 2 cylinders??
any clue ??
God bless and thank you |

Some information here may be of help... IT defines what numbers defines electrical function of relays and switches and whatever...

And there is this...

That looks alot like the Flasher Relay in my buggy.

Neither. Constant power is usually number'd 30, and Key switch'd power is 15.

To steering wheel, actually to center terminal of Turn Signal Lever, AND also to a tab on Hazard Switch. Here is the wiring diagram I drew up decades ago when building my buggy:

This would be the headlight relay (similar to the one Dale M identified on your post a week or two earlier in this thread). One of the 3 heavy gauge wires at bottom comes into the relay from headlight pull switch; the other 2 go out to the headlight fillaments, one for brights, other for dims. Touching the small brown wire (top right) to ground (with headlights on) actuates toggle between brights/dims. |

Best guess is one is for turn signal flasher and one is kludged in some how for emergency flashers... Pull one wire off unit and test systems to see what does not work...

My spare doesn't even have the tab with resistor. Also, in the circuit drawing I posted earlier in this thread, that tab (number'd 54, but with no resistor) is left UN-used. So it seems you may be able to just ignore that issue.

It will be interesting to see how you apply an emergency flasher switch in your oil temp and pressure circuits...... |
