I have this same model kit from the early '00s, just noticed they must've repressed this kit:

When I bought it 10 minutes ago, there were 31, last check was 19 left.

Do you guys ever actually build these kits? I have several, still in box. Not really into model car building. I'm more into building model houses.

Laughing You got me. After I painted, lowered and installed my Countach rims -long ago, I never did finish the model. I moved a few times and lost some parts, so I'm looking forward to getting the new kit and maybe finishing this one.

Those are clean, nice work! The samba's blue and white exterior makes the interior look like it's painted the matching aero/steel, from here. Really nice.

Just noticed Hasegawa has a '67 Single Cab too: http://www.amazon.com/HASEGAWA-21211-Type-Pickup-T...96-6446025

I bought one of these and was disappointed that the bumpers and hub caps came in chrome!

Soak the chrome parts in bleach for a few minutes, that chrome is only a coating.

If you just need misc. parts, let me know. Here is the aftermath of some kit bashing I started years ago-

It is trying to be a Binz. The thing that stopped me was the unavailability of scale pressed bumpers. Anyone got a source?

Are they something that could be "printed"?

I would imagine they could be printed. I could probably make something myself. I was talking to one guy who had made some for a BD he was building. But I lost his screen name and contact info. Besides, for this one/off, buying is faster.
