Nice! I thought he had inferred that there wasn't enough market interest to warrant making a run. Guess I'm wrong
I hadn't really looked at these as I didn't want 94's. Any idea how these would fare for a turbo application? Compared to a standard flat top piston? |

I have a pretty good idea. Mine have never spent a day without a turbo connected to them
I have 94s, the motor made 24.5 psi many times on plain old 91 octane as my daily driver on the street.
I think a 92TW combo would be a premium turbo combo, other than maybe the 94TW that are available now for a few more bucks. |

WOW!!!!
Now if only they came in more sizes! If there were some stock sized 85.5 Super Squishies I'd buy them immediately! But now that ACN is going to try more sizes is great news! _________________ If a water cooled engine cools its water with air, isn't it just an overcomplicated air cooled engine? |

Damnit!!!!!!Ok that's out of the system...so my daily's engine was going to be a 2007cc, then picked up a good deal on an 82 crank and some nos cima 90.5B's to make a 2110, now John comes out with an extra 70cc's of SS piston. Decisions, decisions, anyone know a source of 92TW cylinders without pistons?
I'm assuming these will play nice with your L5's and FK-8 cam John _________________ Aust. RHD 66 Type 1

Ok, that's freaking cool...
Guess my aviation motor will be rocking 92mm thickwalls, if they're still available by the time I get around to it... _________________

I'm running the 94's. I hate to be a debbie downer, but I wonder how effective the squish design would be as it scales down to smaller bores. As the bore gets smaller, the dome has to get smaller too.....I wonder if you get diminished returns.
Just speculation and no science or fact in this thinking _________________ Turbo 2276 MS3X build http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=673125

Chamber and valve size gets smaller too though. I assume that if proper proportions are maintained that the effect will be the same. |
