Good Info. Too bad there isn't a thread like this that i've seen for the bug colors. The 72(mine) texas yellow is different than the 74 texas yellow and Im betting the paint stores wouldn't know the difference.

These bus colors will come in handy for a friend who's working on his Sage Green I do believe.

There's a massive 10 page thread on this in the Body/Paint forum. Covers all models (as long as somebody submitted it). There's much more to TheSamba besides the Bay Window Forum. Razz

I've been looking for a close match to L60D Elm Green.

I believe that this rustoleum "hunter green" is a pretty good match:

Not under the taillights but in the center section. My bus wears many colors at the moment. Very Happy

I love this sticky T Cash. One error I found....

LE1M Mexico beige
Krylon "Sand"

It is not Krylon, it is Rustoleum. I spent a long time looking and realized it's a Rustoleum color. Can you update?

Rustoleum Colonial Red seems to be an exact match for L30H.
The heater plenum is painted with Rustoleum, the area behind is original

I have used both Satin Eden and Fern for touch-ups and they are very close to Sage. The Eden is almost right but it's a satin finish. I used it as a first coat and then used the Fern over it as a finish coat. Looks good enough from 5 feet away.

Does anyone know if there has been a can color that compares closely to Diamond Silver L97A?

I just painted the rail covers on my Chrome Yellow van/bus using Duplicolor School Bus Yellow rattle can paint found at Napa. Dancing

It is the closest match to original that I have found in three years of searching.
It's even quite a bit closer than a can of color-matched Chrome Yellow that I spent $35 on-line. Crying or Very sad

That's a good question...
Chloe hasn't been out of the carport since it was painted.
She's also getting a brake job, so will be in place for a few days.

Has anyone found anything close to Kansas Beige L91D?

I have some rusty spots beneath the engine hatch rubber to treat, seal and touch up but want to use the original color, or get as close to a match as I can. Nobody will ever really see it, but it would make me feel better about the repair.
