all of the torque specs should be in your bentley manual. |

Torque specs are from the '60-'70 Without Guesswork book....but they're in the Bentley too....
Nut on driven shaft (behind the freeze plug) - 108 ft lbs Be sure to peen the shoulder of the new nut into the groove after torgue check. And use sealer on the freeze plug.
Nut on rear axle driven shaft - 217 ft lbs (to max of 250 to get nut to line up with cotter pin hole)
Redux front housing bolts - not listed (Bentley says "securely tighten") but they're 8mm bolts so I would use 15-20 ft lbs
Rear axle bearing/seal retainer 43 ft lbs _________________ ~~~~~~~~

VERY helpful.
dstefun got it right.
also, don't forget to tighten/torque the reduction box to springplate bolts in the correct sequence. they get torqued to 10-12mkg, or 100-120 Nm, or 72-86ft. lbs.
the sequence of tightening is the same for both sides:
1. the center one of the 3 in the back (vertical row).
2. the forward one, near the shock mount.
3. the top one of the 3 in the back (vertical row).
4. the bottom one of the 3 in the back (vertical row).
i always use new GRADE 10.9 bolts (12 x 1.5 x 25) after chasing the threads in the reduction boxes, and if the threads are messed up, the get time-sert inserts installed. when re-installing the reduction boxes to the springplates, i start the middle rear bolt and the forward one, then start the other 2. if i can not run them in by hand, i do not force them, i align the hole better until i can run them in by hand. it's real easy to cross thread the bolt and damage the threads on both the bolt and the reduction box, which can cause a whole world of fun you don't want to do.
I also use new spring washers. and don't forget the brake line bracket on the upper bolt.
