Nice idea for a topic. Every time I've crossed state lines in the summer I'm always running too hot to stop the airflow. I'm air-cooled too, you know. I actually don't think I've ever crossed a state line in the winter… _________________ Learn how your vintage VW works. And why it doesn't!

Great idea for a thread, how about opening it up to any VW?

Hey thats me! I planned on adding my pictures to this thread, but you saved me the work! Pretty sad, I live in Iowa, and have driven the bus into Nebraska, Minnesota, Kansas, and Missouri literally hundreds of times, and never thought to take pics with the signs until after I took that last road trip.. Now I have to! Not to mention all the new states I plan to hit this summer... _________________ 76 Sportsmobile |

This is the only time I bothered to stop and take a state line photo; I had to check the oil anyway.

Aww, man. Just a couple of years ago I finally visited my last state (Vermont), making it 50/50. I did not take photos. Now I have to start all over again! _________________ John

Passing into Texas via I-44 to ride and camp at HHH (hotter n Hell Hundred) August 2015
Crossing into New Mexico heading out last July for the Medano Muster Bus gathering near Salida, CO. The kids were still fresh at this point...
Crossing into Colorado on the same trip, apparently there is some nice paraphernalia that can be found right at the border.
