Finally wrapping up the wiring, made a base out of starboard for the new fuse block. Didn't drill into the car. Going to use some metal tabs underneath to lock it in place. I used a '67 harness and all the 12v components from a '67.
Got the lights hooked up. just gotta get the rear fenders on after I touch up the clear.

Got some new caps and fitted one on.
Got a Wiring Works harness for the bug, got the main harness installed and started car, dash lights go out when it fires up.
Decided to use the modern fuse block, have to mount it somehow and clean up the wiring

Finished up the popouts. They will need to come out eventually when I'm ready for the headliner
Also cleaned up one of the fuse blocks I had. Thought about using a modern blade fuseblock, but I put the original in. Tried the wiring cover for fit.

Put the billett signals in with LEDs. Next I need to order up some of the Porsche style fluted headlight lenses.

There's always something, hey let me know if you need a new top for your rag? Got this one in charcoal cloth I decided not to use, Thx

Got a new Gulf blue horn button, slightly lighter than my car color
Also had some rust and rusty studs on the rear ragtop bow. Cut some of the rusted ones off, made some new ones, welded them in and cleaned up the bow.
Put it back in and got the ragtop assembly on the car

Almost, I did drive the pan to make sure the trans didn't grind or pop out or have any noises, and so I could adjust the clutch where I needed it to be. Once I get some more body parts on and get the door latches in, will have to take it for a ride. _________________ 1963 Ragtop Bug |

Getting there slowly, got the carbs back in, going to paint the hex bar and polish up the AC tops. Got the front and rear hood seals in..always a fun job.
