Finally wrapping up the wiring, made a base out of starboard for the new fuse block. Didn't drill into the car. Going to use some metal tabs underneath to lock it in place. I used a '67 harness and all the 12v components from a '67.

Got the lights hooked up. just gotta get the rear fenders on after I touch up the clear.

Got a Wiring Works harness for the bug, got the main harness installed and started car, dash lights go out when it fires up.

Also cleaned up one of the fuse blocks I had. Thought about using a modern blade fuseblock, but I put the original in. Tried the wiring cover for fit.

You're killin' it man! I've taken a break from my build but I think I'm close to pulling the trigger on buying my interior. I want to paint my car but I have a dilemma. I still use it for the final stage of jigging up the clamps for the roof racks I build. I have to come up with another way to do it so I don't scratch and burn the car.

Got a new Gulf blue horn button, slightly lighter than my car color

Also had some rust and rusty studs on the rear ragtop bow. Cut some of the rusted ones off, made some new ones, welded them in and cleaned up the bow.

Almost, I did drive the pan to make sure the trans didn't grind or pop out or have any noises, and so I could adjust the clutch where I needed it to be. Once I get some more body parts on and get the door latches in, will have to take it for a ride.

Getting there slowly, got the carbs back in, going to paint the hex bar and polish up the AC tops. Got the front and rear hood seals in..always a fun job.
