Moderator Notes:
Don't post your own ads here, obviously everything you have for sale is super cheap and a steal at twice the price... :)
If you have a "cheap" Eurovan for sale, please post in the Classifieds section of the site

I did not see a thread like this in the new Eurovan forum and know that the similar one in the Vanagon forum is very popular. I was inspired to begin this one by finding this ad for a van I recognize. I see it nearly every day when taking my dog to the park for a run. Lots of pix but I only brought one over. If I wanted an EV I'd check this one out.

Clean inside and out and ready for weekend excursions or cross country trips. Selling only because I have 3 kids in college and just don't have time to use it. 213,000 on the body but 3,000 since engine change. Almost new tires. No issues.

Then I found this ad.

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/5366583613.html

2002 VW Eurovan Weekender - $9500 (NoVA)

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

2002 VW Eurovan Weekender

VIN: WV2NB47002H090219
condition: good
cylinders: 6 cylinders
drive: fwd
fuel: gas
odometer: 257000
paint color: white
title status: clean
transmission: automatic
type: van

2002 VW Eurovan. Second owner. Runs/drives excellent - starts right up, quiet and no leaks, pulls strong, drives straight, no exhaust smoke, and no transmission slipping. No accidents. Just changed oil with proper oil/filter. Also changed coolant with proper German G12 coolant. New Bosch starter. Straight body, but a good amount of road rash (chips) on hood and grille areas. Also some surface rust beneath front doors - but NO holes or thin spots, and rust has been treated with converter to hold it at bay. Good tires, newer exhaust, good axles/boots, and drives strong and straight. Pop top is clean and no tears. Includes rear snap-in screen and all curtains, including windshield. Interior is in great shape, and non-smoker. Has flip-up table, pull-out bed, bed up in pop-top, small electric fridge under rear seat. Both original keys and owners manual. 257K miles (previous owner traveled across the country a lot) but really shows no signs of giving up any time soon! I have another 2002 Weekender, and it is time to let this one go to someone else to have fun. And no, I'm not going to let you sell my car, or take a check for more than I'm asking, etc., etc. Local purchase in-person only, cash is great, or a cashier's check that I can verify at a local bank in-person.

Greetings from the vanagon forum, I kinda miss you guys.
Anyway this certainly must qualify as a good deal right?
Even if it needs a new trans?

Because it wasn't actually written for a Eurovan Razz

Actually that makes way more sense -- seeing as how many Canadians like to refer the 2nd amendment. Wink

This one just showed up in Virginia.

http://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/5513538205.html

2002 VW Eurovan Westfalia Weekender - $17500 (Virginia Beach)

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

2002 Volkswagen

cylinders: 6 cylinders
drive: fwd
fuel: gas
odometer: 159500
paint color: silver
title status: clean
transmission: automatic

Here is a great 2002 Eurovan Westfalia Weekender with 159,XXX miles. Sleeps 4/5! This has been a California van for it's entire life up until last August. It has the 24 valve VR6 engine with a newer automatic transmission replaced approximately 57k miles ago. We took this van on our summer move from California to Virginia and everywhere in between. It made the 4500 mile trip including climbing the rockies, camping the whole way. This van is a daily driver and ready for more adventure.

The following has been upgraded or replaced on the van
Rear Windows Tinted - this is amazing in the summer
Transmission - 57k miles ago
Serpentine Belt and Tensioner
Alternator
Starter
Newer Tires with proper load rating- Have about 5k miles on them
Added GW Transmission Cooler with thermostatic switch
Replaced Transmission fluid and filter 5k miles ago
Brake Booster Pipe replaced
Passenger Seat Swivel added
Pop Top Seal Replaced
Purge Valve Replaced
Ignition Lock Cylinder
Custom Sized windshield sun/privacy shade
Auxiliary and Engine Batteries Replaced
Sliding Door Screen
Oil Changed every 5k miles with VW spec oil

There is damage on the passenger side where the previous owner drove it into a bollard in an alley. You can see it in the photos, it is purely cosmetic. It has the standard road rash from being a snub nosed van with 159k miles. The rear facing jump seat behind the passenger is not pictured; it is in storage, we never use it. I do not have the drivers side jump seat with cooler.

The interior is in excellent shape. No rips or tears in the seats or bed cushion. It has a full set of curtains.

The van is ready to camp!
Clean Title in hand no accidents or insurance claims
I'm happy to answer all questions from serious inquiries. Make an offer!

There is a 2002 VW Weekender for sale in my town for $11.785. Seems a little low. It does have 180k miles.

It's a manual, rear AC, upgraded cloth/velour seat upholstery with additional upgraded cloth/velour and has tilt steering wheel. Better buy it now because it's an uber rare EV.

Really? If I didn't just buy a 99 MV I might. But I am tapped out.

This would be more of a "Nice find of a unique Eurovan" as it is a 2.4 Diesel, 5 speed manual, European spec ($25k) van:

A 1990? Wow that is rare -- even has the super snub euro bumper.
