I have a rusty Peka Tow hitch that appears to be for Type 3. It is missing some end supports. It was installed on my 66 DC many years ago. I do not know if it was bent to make this work. It is very similar to the one in this thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=462951 The model is a R 47 / VW? 734 Link to a German datasheet here: http://typ3.info/PDF-Anhaenger/R47_M3753_Aussenbleche.pdf The thing that puzzles me most is the Baujahr of 1960. This would put this as a preproduction hitch. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
