Does anybody have a good picture of the e-brake cable routing that is the same as a '61 bus?

I'm having a hard time getting both sides of the threaded cable ends up through the floor into the lever to mount/adjust them. It seems as the passenger side cable gets bound on the bottom of the heater tube preventing it to get pulled enough to come up to the hand brake lever. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Still having trouble hooking my e-brake cables back up. These are OG cables that were fine before I pulled the trans. Are they really this tough to feed back up into the handle? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
