Hey,
I was just wondeing if any of you guys new of a site showing you how to install engine standoffs, can you buy a kit or is a a more complex job? _________________ 71 1302s

probably the most simple install on a beetle, the only prob is you can no longer use the orig. spring, and the lid will not stay open by itself (must prop it up), just kinda like a spacer simple, bolt on. _________________ Enemies are friends in reverse..... G. Busey

You will need to get some longerbolts than the stock ones to adjust them and make it secure, i got mine at home depot _________________ Zombie

i used a standard spring then cut the longer tab of another one and bolted them together,works fantastic! _________________ melburgluft.com

Most "kits" come with the longer bolts, and all the hardware you will need to install them. |
