Well, its been almost a year so I thought I'd start on it. Don't want to rush into these things. Started the back window today. Have the top glued in..

Did a little more today. First time I did the headliner, I didn't do the rear window. I thought it was because the split was out of my comfort zone. Turns out the stock window isn't much easier for me. I have the top and both sides glued in. It's turning into damage control for the rest. It's going to have wrinkles, just trying to keep them to a minimum. Done for today, my back can't take it anymore.

Well, I guess I can cross off upholstery shop worker as a job after I retire. This is the end result of much cursing and yelling. I obviously did not do it correctly, had to fold over that corner. I've got a parcel tray so I'll just throw a hat or a box of tissues in front of it. Badda bing, no more wrinkles.

Got one more piece in. This one came out a bit better, just have to trim it out.

Looks good! They make it look so easy in videos. I've tried 3 times now and seemed I got worse at it. It's gotta help that your doing this during warm weather.

Thanks Brent, but the back window looks like crap. I just don't have it in me to do it over. The rest shouldn't be too bad. I'll tinker some more tomorrow. Hope we can hook up at show this summer.

I actually really dig the idea of turning the rear window into an opening hatch, it'd be really handy. Too bad it's a faux split, if it kept a stock looking rear window it'd be great!

Finished the headliner. I'm disappointed with it. I really botched the sunroof section. I'm going to order another piece and I'll do it over the winter. Started the carpet as well.

Just buttoned her up today. All that I need to do is give her a bath. Officially de-abortioned, although it still fits in the category. It's totally Frankensteined together. Doors, hood, and deck lid are all from different cars and the fenders are aftermarket.

I do need to do something with the heater outlets up front. Sewfine just has you cut a hole in the carpet. Hoping I can find some kind of grommet or something.

Thanks! I really butchered the headliner this time around, but don't have it in me to do it again. Those seats are Beard's street L. I'm not sure if they still make them though.

Hey, you did way better than I could do with interior work, looks good to me! Thanks for the info on the seats. Are those considered a "suspension seat"? How are they along the lines of comfort and keeping you in place around corners?

Sunroof stays open most of the time..lol Very Happy

They are a Suspension seat with a fixed back. I love them, more than comfortable for me and my wife. We've taken some long trips in it too. From NJ to Cape Cod, think it was a total of 8 hours with traffic. I don't drive the bug hard, so I can't really say if they'll hold you in or not.
