I am looking for an equivalent to what appears to be 2 different NLA grommets for my '77:

1. The grommet that holds the Air Filter Housing in place (13A):

2. The grommet for the front engine tin where the wire from the alternator passes through to the starter (circled in red):

What are you guys using? Something from Grainger/Fastenal, etc? If so, care to share which particular ones?

used from Ken Madson at TheBusco would be whom I would try on the air cleaner grommet. It has been NLA for a very long time, and the part number is not even listed in the fiche.

Aha, there it is! Not what expected it would look like:

This looks exactly like some grommets I have left over from my 911 headlight bucket...

I'll try The BusCo to see about the air cleaner grommet Thumbs Up

Can't say that it would work or even if it is still available, but you might look for a mounting grommet for a Vanagon air box. I have found Bus Lab to be a pretty good source for this kind of item. I usually just call vendors instead of spending hours searching on line as typically they don't show ever part they might have in their on line catalog, especially if what they have is used.

We have the air cleaner mount grommet, good used.

The Vanagon one won't work properly, different outside dimensions.

also see this thread from 2013. The German Supply links are to the old webstore and do not work but the newer webstore site can find them

I pulled the tin off my '79 2.0 to have it powder coated. When I disassembled it there were a few seals/grommets that I removed. I'd like to put new ones on and I'm having trouble locating them. Can anyone help with a part number and/or a resource to get them from? Here's a picture to hopefully make it easier.

I've figured out and found the first two, but three, four and five are still a mystery. Any help would sincerely be appreciated.

Thanks for this. Contacted Ken and he has one that I'm purchasing.

That air cleaner grommet looks a bit like a P80 Volvo air box grommet, anyone have a picture with a scale?
