Received my GRADULUX JALOUSIE blinds for my 1961 Beetle from Papeto and I am VERY HAPPY!!! THESE ARE THE REAL DEAL! ALL METAL, fit and finish is PERFECT and EASY install! Sunroof open at 60 mph and they don't move!!! TRUE to the AD. A very CLASSY accessory! These are NOT A COPY OR FAKE. If you are reading this then you know how RARE these are.... No they are not NOS, they are NEW! Made at the Gradulux jalousie workshop that has been making them since the 50's, 60's, etc. for many different cars. I have spent years as have many others to acquire this item with few leads and NO success. The reason is, these days the workshop will only make them for you if you order them IN PERSON! So unless you want to fly to France yourself to order one.... GOOD LUCK!!!

With that said, I want to sincerely thank Papeto, he is a trustworthy and passionate Volkswagen enthusiast! It was a pleasure doing business with him. He even called me from FRANCE to make sure I received the GRADULUX! VERY COOL! WOW!

Not sure who the heck Pepe or Papeto is. My dealings were with Cyril.

Blinds are very pricey, but I'm convinced they are the very best you can get, and they're adjustable to boot. Shipped from France to Florida. Excellent purchase. No regrets.

(A side note about a self-created hickup. When they arrived I was sure they had sent me blinds for an oval, (mine is a '65), because the package was only 23" long and my window is 35" wide. I didn't open it, thinking I would have to ship it back. A phone call from Cyril cleared it all up. The blind slats are curved and doubled over in the box. They unfold perfectly flat. All's well that ends well.)

Buyers beware ! Despite his several favorable feedbacks this sell who goes by many aliases ( Pepe, Papeto, Cyril) to name a few advertises on The Samba that he accepts Pay Pal..when it came time to make the purchase of the rear window blinds, he stated he only accepts cash. When I reminded him of his Samba ad, he called a tire kicker and that I wasted his time.! too funny ! Had I known he was " Cash only" and lives in France, I never would have contacted him...At least through Pay Pal my investment was more secure...

hello every body and sorry my english its not perfect

an answer for eagle who make me problem on my feedback(WITHOUT BUY ANYTHING !!!) so be careful if he want buy something to you.
I felt this guy can make problem and he make it.
Lot of time waste with him.
He made problem to another guy and post bad feedback, he bought gravel guard rear fender , he said its not the good model (all rear fender bottom are the same......) i think he got problem with his finger (he was afraid for mount the venitian blind)

With all the respect i ask for payment by western union because at this time i dont need money on my paypal account. This guy think im a swindle, and tell me this with not respect.
So i dont want to sell to him, i told with all th no respect and bad sens of humor he gave to me.
2 of guys who leave feedback paid with western union because the cant make with other system.......

finally be careful if you want to buy his brand new venitian blind he got to sell on the ads, he say here he is not happy with it (its not mine)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not an obligation to pay by western union and take one blind... perhaps if he dont made bad humor i will finally accept paypal.......

yes i have one for 1965 window. Yes the blade can be adjust. it can be in middle positionn or totally close. They all pivot on an axle. When you move one, all the over move in the same time.

I bought a set of blinds for my 71' type 1 and im very happy with it. Quality is superb and as a seller, Cyril is excellent. Fast replies to questions, fast shipping etc.
