Just finished up my third distributor. I won't have to worry about a thing. Curves were set spot on. 2056 should purr like a kitten. Cool

I had Bill restore my 1974 034 and 1972 205AN distributors i am very pleased. Quality work. Was a great help on helping me in what direction to go. Will definitely purchase from him again in the future.

I’m new to the Samba from Australia. I was doing a little research and noticed one of Bills replies was very informed. I was curious and touched base with Bill. He was ever so kind and emailed myself back with the most detailed response. This guy didn’t know me from a bar of soap! Yet he took the time to explain everything in such detail. I have just purchased a restored pierberg fuel pump. The workmanship is outstanding. In fact it’s so good I’m going to purchase the correct time period distributor for my autostick 68 Bug. It’s always a little risky to purchase from someone you don’t know. Especially from the other side of the world. However Bill did an amazing job and I will highly recommend him to anyone in VW scene.

I sold a distributor to Bill recently and it was my second dealing with him.
Once again his communication was excellent, payment was made right away, and there was no nonsense with the asking price. Cool Cool Cool
He's a fantastic VW enthusiast to deal with and I cannot recommend him enough.
Hopefully I turn up more parts he can use Very Happy

Thanks again Bill !

Bill did an amazing job on an OG Pierburg pump for me. He was great at communicating and letting me know the status of the shipping.
Two thumbs up!
thank you

I just recently received one of Bill’s restored 034 distributors and wow the craftsmanship is top notch! But that wasn’t the best part of the deal. Bill went the extra mile to ensure this was the right distributor for my application and was in no rush to just “push a sale”.
He was more concerned that I got the right part. You don’t find that often and it is great...
THANK YOU BILL!!!!

Just got my 205Q and Pierburg dome top back from Bill. As others noted in this thread, Bill really does a top notch job on these restorations. Undoubtedly would recommend anyone to him. I couldn't believe this was the same distributor I sent out to him to restore - it looks brand new. Great communication from Bill and seems like a stand up honest person. Thanks Bill!!

I know this is an odd way to start a seller feedback, but I've never bought anything from Bill.

I inquired about a SVDA Distributor he had for sale. Bill took the time to talk with me and helped me learn that I had a DVDA Solex 34PICT3 carb and the distributor that he had for sale wasn't the best match for it.

He also advised me how my carb could be modified to work with the SVDA he had, but I ended up deciding not to buy his SVDA.

Bill was gracious and thorough to make sure anything I was going to buy would be the best fit for my bug.

I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy anything Bill has for sale.

I've had two pleasant experiences with Bill. The first, I inquired about a NOS 205Q distributor last year right after I purchased my 1971 bus. I didn't know at the time how rare a thing this was and let that one slip by me as I wasn't ready to focus on the engine at the time. After many months went by I inquired if he had any more, but he didn't. He said he would try to source a rebuild-able distributor and a NOS vacuum can which he did in just a few weeks. He was really helpful in identifying my needs and communicating what he could offer. I now have a beautifully restored 205Q distributor waiting for install. It is very evident he does this for the love of the VWs and helping people. I highly recommend Bill.

Good communication, quick turn-around, fair price. What more could you ask for?

Thank you Bill, hope to do business with you again!

Bill’s the genuine article. Buy his stuff!! Don’t cheap out and try to talk him down. He’s not a swap meet. Gotta keep ACVW specialists in business. Nobody here is writing reviews on Autozone and if they are that’s a waste of time. Wait, do they? Bill will walk you through all the information he will need to properly match your distributor to the carb. As mentioned above. If it’s not a good match. He will tell you.

So here’s a side story. Bill knew I was going to have Tim at Volkzbitz rebush a German 34-3 carb my buddy gave me. Bill told me to have Tim set it up a certain way. I asked Tim to go through carb and let me know if any more work was needed to be done. Tim said carb looks great. If you don’t mind the way the metal looks. I’ll just rebush and clean it up. Awesome, that would save me some cash. But once I saw Bill’s distributor, I told Tim it would be a shame to have a tired grey Carburetor paired up to this jewel. So I caved and had Tim do the full work over of the carb. As I write this review. I just noticed the carb builder just benefited from the distributor builder. Much like your VW will from having a matched up distributor and carburetor. Wink
Thanks Bill and Tim.

Behold:
(You can even see the reflection of the bubble wrap) Very Happy

You will find this same review in Tim’s feedback Laughing

Repeat customer here. Obviously very satisfied with the work to date which is why I went back to Bill for more work. So far I had Bill restore my 205Q distributor, sent him a dome top pierburg that was beyond repair, so I bought a newly restored one from Bill, had my altitude corrector restored, and also had him electroplate my westy cot brackets. As noted, Bill is very helpful and responsive and a solid resource to all of us on the forum. Attaching some before and after photos of the jobs he has done for me:

Bill is very knowledgeable about distributors, and very free with helpful info...
However the dizzy he built for me will end up on the living room shelf !

Way too pretty for my rustbucket ! Appears to be NOS now and will look totally out of place !

Thanks Bill for the great work !!

Bill just did a DVDA auto stick Distributor for me. Let me just say how Impressed I am with the work he did. I sent it to him, and he completed it it two days! Two days! It looks amazing. My vacuum canister was blown and he replaced it with a NOS one for me. He sent me back all my old parts. He gave me instructions for timing it, installing it and helped me with a few questions I had. He has great communication and works quick. It looks great as he polished the body, and cleaned up some corrosion on it. He really does it right. I would Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality distributor. Thank you again Bill. Well done!
