Not a plate frame or a dealership, but I found these two service shop decals on my 66 bug. I found it in MN, but it lived in North Dakota for some time nd had an early 80's MN license plate up front.
Door jamb service sticker..
Nice shiny sticker on the fan shroud. Anyone know where Bax Colvin's Place was?

Nope. No other paperwork in the car. That address could be in any number of cities across the country, just wondered if anyone had heard of Bax Colvin before. Seems odd that they didn't name the city on the decal.
We know it was in NY, MN, and ND. But it could also have lived in other places, and traveled who knows where? That fan shroud will hang on the wall, as it is cracked and dented, and this engine will get a cooling system upgrade soon.
Also, it looks like the location of Three Vet's VW service is still a working auto repair shop called Sal's Service Center on Long Island.

Another dealer item I found. Has nothing to do with the 66 bug, this was found in a junked out 71-ish karmann Ghia
Does not appear to be in the dealer listings on here.

Those folks made the dealer give-away bus Lunchboxes. |

This frame was on a 74 Super Beetle I bought. The only thing I can find about Mike Patton VW is that it was incorporated in 1973. No other info so far. Mike Patton still has several dealerships in La Grange GA but not VW.
Everett I don't see this dealership on the list.

Rare early 50’s Harry Hill West Covina dealership frames front and rear scored the broken frame front last year and the perfect rear frame this morning

The Lompoc early ribbed frame is actually for sale on thjs very website and the highland park uptown motors frame isn’t even listed spotted it on a local paper but someone snatched up before I could. Both very rare frames …. EV please add the pics etc…..

Highland Park is listed under Los Angeles.
I think Highland Park wasn't or still isn't a city, just a neighborhood?
That's how VW listed Uptown Imports in the dealer books - Under LA - so that's how I added it.

Hi I'm new to the site, but found this thread because I was Google searching for a Bill Spreen VW / Porsche license plate frame.
I realize it's kind of a long shot, but anyone have one of those or know where I can get one? The dealership was in Atlanta, GA.
