just a touch of rust
Got the corner mostly welded in. I am thinking about buying a spot welder... some of these spots are getting quite hard to drill and plug weld. Anyone ever purchased a portable spot welder?
|
I bought a HF 220v. It is brutally heavy. And the tips need dressing more than I thought. They get schmutz on them enough to make the welder bog down after just a few welds. But overall, it is a huge timesaver. I would highly recommend one. |
I may have to try that _________________ 1952 Zwitter

I decided to go ahead and do a whole gerson long panel for the bus. So... I chopped off a bunch of work
|
Thats probably the best decision actually. and no weld marks from inside the bus. I had to make that same decision on my 61 deluxe. _________________ GFK

Today was a good day.
Got the inner structure all fit and welded in.
Now for the satisfying part... first test fit of the long panel.
Today was a good day

That's amazing firstly what you did but that replacement pieces are made that can actually work with talented effort. |
