Does anyone know which is the "Hot Wire" to a 4 wire flasher unit in a 70 Ghia, 31, KBL, 49, or 49a? And is it Hot with the key off or only when it's on. Thanks for any help. |

Howdy..The kind folks here at the Samba have been nice to provide copious amounts of wiring diagrams here in the "Technical section"
Both the 49s lead to the Emergency flasher (which is constant hot, )Blue and white wires, KBL is dash and the brown 31 leads to wiper motor, switch and turn signals etc. But from my understanding, anything with the 2.5 on the trace is something that operates without the key, headlights etc.. so the white 49 wire would be the constant hot, so it can operate the flashers without the key _________________ '68 Campmobile-Pedro
